Hello anybody interested in good eats! I thought i’d test the waters and see if anyone out there shares the passion for slow cooking their meats with a healthy dosing of smoke, for that extra kick of flavor. Now I’m not asking anyone to divulge any top secret recipes or anything. Just to get together and discuss tips, techniques, hardware, gadgets, smokers, successes, and or failures. Heck even recipes if folks are feeling froggy, but no obligations there of course. Sharing smoker pictures would be encouraged because, lets face it, there are some killer homemade/custom rigs out there. I personally could while away most of my days in front of and around my smoker. So join in if you’re similarly inclined…or even interested in BBQ.
I couldn’t stop thinking about the multiple racks of ribs I’m going to be smoking later. So i decided to put myself out there and share a passion. I’m from Arizona and i have a plain jane offset barrel smoker, just to get the ball rolling.

@general_desaix Thank you. For sure, you buy the salmon and i’ll bring the beer plus do all the smoking :), pecan smoked salmon perhaps. Salmon is a good one, actually one of my favorite fish. have you tried mahi mahi currently at the top of my fish list.

@cloudyman Yeah I favor Mahi Mahi quite a bit-- will have to have some smoked at some point-- sounds excellent
