Yes - well this is a bit of an issue in my mind ATM. Why did Mr.S buy out SnuffSnore? Knock out some of the opposition? I’m not too sure. Mr.S & SnuffStore are effectively the same company supplied (excluding American snuffs) by the same warehouse. Yet, SnuffStore is still much more “skinny” than Mr.S. It wouldn’t really matter if it were not for the £-$ conversion handling fee issue (topic done to death already). That is why I would like to see SnuffStore built up to be the same inventory as Mr.S. ^:)^

Oh-OH! :-/ Funnily enough… (though not for me by the sound of it); I’ve just placed an order with MrSnuff just to get my paws on this snuff = Does this mean rip of currency conversion rate ahoy for me? I was aware that MrSnuff and Snuffstore were essentailly the same mob, there is a MrSnuff.co.uk under construction and I did ask Snuffstore if they would be merging with that but didn’t get a response. Congrats on the TLA Lunecat Fingers crossed that this transaction will not leave me with a bitter taste - Just MoO

Well @lunecat. You sold it to me. I’m in for 50. Those 50g seem massive compared to the 15g tins. If it’s as good as FOJ and LF I’m going to love it. If it’s any better I might die from pleasure!

After receiving a very generous gift from Sir Johnny, I’m really looking forward to placing an order for 50g. Still waiting for this to appear at Snuffstore.co.uk though … :-w :!!

I have just sent a message to Snuffstore flagging this, and asking if they are planning on listing the 50g option (plenty in stock @ Mr S) along with the larger GH options. I am actually looking to buy 50g of Mull of Oa, plus 25g tubs of GH Cherry, Sea Breezes and Dry Orange. I do of course have other supply options for the GH items, but it would make sense for me to get this all in one parcel assuming the pricing is not prohibitive of course. All items are listed at Mr S, but only the 15g option of MoO (at wrong price) and 10g GH tapboxes. I can’t understand why there is so much misalignment in the two sites. I don’t find either store to be particularly user friendly either, for example it’s a little odd that prices aren’t shown in the list views - only once the detail page is opened. Is the UK site going to mirror the US one? Will the new stock system be integrated into the UK site? What about peripherals like smashboxes? I do hope it all gets ironed out as it’s all a little confusing, and more effort than an online site should be IMHO. Mr S and SS do have some exclusives and interesting snuffs, but the vast majority of my purchases are being done elsewhere due to ease of ordering and great prices. Fingers crossed that they can get all the issues resolved someday and I can start using them more.

Got my Oa. Wowee, what a snuff. Brilliant again from SWS. Keep’em coming! I want also to give a special mention to those 50g tins. I absolutely love those. A big silver disc with a smooth thread that just builds the anticipation as it rotates to opening. Think Toque 25g tin but better. It really adds to the feeling of luxury. Deserves a mention definitley. It’s only packaging but it’s the best I’ve come accross. Love them. Oh could maybe make the label a bit better but that isn’t going to spoil my day. The Oa is so full on rich (to me it’s pipe tobacco that I remember my father using many years ago) that I only need a small pinch in each nostrel (yes I did try larger pinches before anyone starts) and the flavour stays forever so I wouldn’t therefore use very much and I need to keep packing something in to get my nicotine. So, could I try a blend? Well I have this fresh new tin of Toque Whiskey and Honey. I’ll try that. The result. Absolutely totally superb. The whiskey flavour just doubles and everything clicks into place. I used about 3 to 1 Toque to Oa as the Oa is so powerful in flavour. I’m really happy with this result. Really does feel luxurious.
