Silver dollar range: overview

Following the departure of Poschl from the US market, Toque has stepped into the breach with this Poschlesque line of snuffs. There are no surprises - the snuffs are clumpy, lightly mentholated and medium in nicotine; in short - very German. Accurate flavours are something of a Toque speciality and the apricot and raspberry versions are luscious and fruity with lots of lasting flavour. A lightly mentholated ‘original’ could be used as a replacement in rotations featuring snuffs like President or even Gletcherprise. There is only one real surprise - a deliciously earthy ‘natural’ that has lots of smoky bass notes running through it and - refreshing by its absence - no menthol. It seems as though the availability of these snuffs in the US is patchy at best, which is a shame because this line could be very popular. The packaging - staying true to the Poschl brief, I guess - is the real let-down, with fiddly, revolving dose hole tins (which jam) holding a practically useless 5g of snuff. But very, very good snuff indeed.
