yester day I saw a hippie snuffing. last week I saw someone else I didn’t know snuffing. Both times it was clearly the pinch to both nostril technique. so anyone else with sightings.

I have never once seen anyone else snuffing. I think it would blow my mind and I would automatically have to go over and strike up a conversation with them. That would be great.

Never seen anyone use it. I suppose plenty of people have seen me use it, Police included. Funny, I can use it right in front of a cop and I never get a cross look. Something tells me they know the difference.

I tooted some in front of a Policeman who instructed me in the “proper” use of Snuff. He insisted that I was using it incorrectly by sniffing it: “You’re supposed to put that in your lip!” Very funny, considering that it was Ozona President going up my nose at the time. True story.

I was in Lawrence, Kansas on Saturday, and a group of teens saw me snuffing. One of them was saying “OMG! That hippie is snuffing just like Brad Pitt!!” I’ve never seen another snuffer around here.

I’ve never seen it either. Even the people at the local tobacco shop don’t know anything about it here…but then again this is definitely whitelandia. I can see where explaining snuff will get old too.

I guess we’re just lucky… Seeing people taking snuff here isn’t all that unusual even now.

I saw a man taking snuff today. He was a grey haired black man in a nice suit. He was near a hotel where often the people who travel for bussiness stay. Didn’t see what type but it looked very poschel. That’s sad that I get excited to see someone snuff.

I snuff my face off and trying to corrupt people at work… No go but the tobacco shop guy tried some F&T macuba.

That’s not sad bob. I’d talk it up, and offer him what I have in my pocket (except if it’s a Patrick Collins) and just like, oh my! have you been snuffing a while? You European? Europe’s cool. I gotta go sometime. yep, just talk it up, kinda get stalker like, but not really.

It would honestly freak me out to see someone else here in Utah snuffing.

Its only a matter of time. Heck, I wonder how many of us got here on account of the Camel Snus campaign. Thats how I got here. I really hope it takes off big. Maybe I could get my favorite snuff from the store instead of hoarding it like a damn lunatic. But, I’ve never seen a single person who even knows it exists outside of a Charles Dickens story.

I was driving home from work a while ago, smoking my pipe, I noticed the guy in front of me glance at me in his mirror. I figured he considered my pipe an oddity. Then I noticed him moving his hand to his face repetitively. At first I thought he was eating something. I could see him reaching down, then up, then down, then up - to the nose! I realized he was snuffing! The dude took like ten pinches, a pro! I forgot to post about this back then, I guess it was in Feb. Can’t remember the car. 4pm, heading west on Lake Cook Rd towards Buffalo Grove. A Snuffhouse member possibly?

sonabitch…good chance that was me. I live in Long Grove. So you are that nosey guy that was checking me out. I’m flattered. But no thanks. It really could have been me. Was he driving a gun metal blue late model Jeep cherokee? I drive Lake-Cook road almost daily.

That would be something huh PP. Its a small World! I wish I could meet with members here and have a snuff night out at a pub or something. Any one here lives in Louisiana? (sorry off topic)

I never in my life have seen someone else snuffing unless I’ve offered it to them. Lots of people have seen me snuff, but I haven’t come across people using it. Almost evreyone I talk to those knows what it is. Actually, thinking about it, I was in the pub the other day after PT and offered a pinch to a couple of chaps in my regiment and they gladly offered and used the back of the hand technique. Both had snuffed before.

My co worker broke down!!! A convert!!! No seriously he was stuffed to the brim with ick… I whipped the WoS menthol plus out and that got the snot flowing, then landed him sidelined blowing and blowing with a heap of Gletcher Prise… I am a good friend

I’ve seen plenty of snuffers, we islanders pinch and continentals snuff from back of hand. Snuffing is not very visual though, quite discreet in both traditional ways.

Nice thread. I snuff at my pub and it always gets others having a try. Found three others who snuff regularly unknown to me

I have checked out all the tobacco shops here in Albuquerque and have found two with snuff. The first one only had a couple of tins but keeps one to use as samples. I sampled some with the owner, other than those two every place I have gone when asked if they carry snuff either says they do not know what it is, or that they did not think anyone used that stuff anymore. At work I have a couple of people who know what it is but say they have not seen it used in years. Sad really as I think a lot of smokers would enjoy snuff and it would enable them to quit smoking.
