Mine.

Just the default Mint desktop. The only thing I’ve tweaked is setting my mouse wheel to scroll through the workspaces, which has one obvious use lol.

What desktop environment is that? Obviously I’m just using the standard GNOME but I’m just getting into this Linux stuff.

I’m using GNOME, but I moved the panel up top, and I’m running the Cairo Dock.

Yes, Its lighthouse pup base a puppy linux derivative. i also have another eight puppy linux / derivatives installed on this laptop.

Lol, I wasn’t expecting so much linux, but I suppose threads like these are self-selecting for the savvy required to post the screenshot in the first place.

I wish I knew how to do fancy stuff like this!

my desktop is way too messy right now to post a pic of it. its full of folders and images right now from working on various projects for school. And which computer to post a pic of is a big question seeing as I have 3 of them, my gaming pc(which is suffering from a nasty virus right now), my old desktop, or my MacBook.

bigblue1, my laptop is set up similar, and I’ve had people ask how I got MacOS to run on a Vaio.

There’s something intensely discomfitting about having a collage of the covers of “Blues for Allah” and “Cats Under the Stars” as an image on a computer desktop. If it was “Workingman’s Dead” I’d really have to object.

thank you. I looked into this once before, I ran into a dead end somewhere. To make a link, you must use the html button below the comments box. You should get a bank of icons above the comments box. One of them allows you to insert hyperlinks. Usually I have to fidgit with it to get it right, but it is there.

I think it’s strange we are not allowed to discuss snus (Swedish for snuff) on this site, but we can show our desktops. Isn’t that just a wee bit more off topic, and all those pictures take up bandwidth or whatever it’s called.

No one said we could not discuss snus, or pipes, or dip, or e-cigs.

Snuff Head made a comment on the old “Whatcha Chewin” thread, but I think that has been cleared up.

Meh… Every time I look at discussions by categories, this one keeps popping up this isn’t my desktop (but pretty close). I don’t have a picture storage space online so this’ll have to do. Your basic boring Windows XP with the plain blue background (with only a few less icons than shown here). I just felt it should be represented too (and as long as this thread keeps staying so near the top, and in the spirit of 'if you can’t beat 'em join em) why not?

I love my macbook~ so many pretty icons to choose and decorate my desktop with~~~
