Does anyone know why I can buy Swedish snus from Mr. Snuff and get it delivered via U.S. mail right to my mailbox, but if I want to buy something from Northerner in Sweden I have to use UPS with adult signature? Yes, I’m familiar with the P.A.C.T. Act; I just don’t know why it applies to Sweden if it doesn’t apply to the UK. It’s not like U.S. Customs and Border Control is going to go to Sweden and raid their facility. Has even one single person on here from the U.S. ever had a package of snuff and/or snus intercepted by Customs since the finalization of the law in 2010? I started worrying about this recently when an order from Roderick hadn’t arrived after a month (it finally showed up though).
I live in canada and do trade with people from the states fairly often and ive only ever used standard post and had no problem. Also the packages sent to me have also been standard post. So who the heck knows, id wager the company could get some kind of fine if they were to get caught
UPS requires Adult signature for any tobacco product. domestic & abroad. Since you need to be an Adult to purchase from MS Store you don’t need to sign unless it is over $100 dollars of product. You should use http://www.snuscentral.com/ I never had a delivery more than 5 days most come in 3 days. And their Snus is fresh and yes you still need to sign for it. http://www.snusline.com/ ships free if your just buying a few cans. The prices are about the same when you figure in shipping.
@basement - The interesting thing is that you used to be able to order snus via regular U.S. mail from Northerner in Sweden, but once the P.A.C.T. act was signed into law, they decided they were no longer able to use regular mail to ship to the U.S., and had to switch over to UPS instead. Mr. Snuff, however, does ship to the U.S. using regular mail despite the P.A.C.T. law. I’m glad they do, though, because 1) the shipping is a lot cheaper than UPS, and 2) I am out of the house most of the day, and I can’t just take a day off to sit home and wait to sign for a package.
