In my short experience I have come to find that I get a far stronger nicotine effect using SG rather than WoS. Much much stronger. Yet on the vast majority of sites I have found that they are ranked around the same nicotine content. Does it have a higher nicotine content? I really do love the WoS snuffs, but just prefer the bit from SG. Is there any stronger nicotine snuffs in the WoS range that anyone could recommend for me? Also, where would you place Toque in comparison to the hits received with SG and WoS?

Nicotine is tough to estimate and/or manipulate. What’s there is what it is. You can add sodium carbonate to make more available by lowering the pH, you can add rustica or some burley strains to up the ante. Short of adding nicotine in a pure form we’re stuck with whatever the weed provides. There’s also the question of body chemistry. Some folks are more sensitive to nicotine than others, and their tolerance for it varies. I, for one, have a very high tolerance and can hammer HDT. My wife is loyal to WoS Raspberry, and can’t handle the nicotine load of other snuffs, although it is fun to watch her sample my creations.
I wish I could help, nicotine to me is irrelevant. You can bump up the nicotine by mixing some dholakia white or toque rustia, if you like WoS Irish High Toast #22. WoS Sherry WoS Grand Cairo WoS Queens extra Strong or tom buck WoS Royal George Toque Quit
Thank you both for the replies. I see what you are saying @chefdaniel, I imagine it is difficult to estimate. I shall try both of your suggestions and see what I get up too! I’ll definitely be ordering a few of the WoS mentioned and happen to have a 10g tin of Toque Quit coming in the post =)
I agree with what both @chefdaniel and @basement_shaman said. And I will add, that in my experience with WoS, the Gold Label gives me a better Nicotine hit than other WoS snuffs, this could be because the Gold Label has 1 or 2 different tobaccos added to the normal WoS base. Well, either it has 1 or 2 different additions or consists of 2 different tobaccos and is completely different in it’s composition to the normal WoS base, I believe it has African tobacco (Nigerian??) I can’t remember but I know it’s different and gives me a better hit than others of the line. SG is stronger imo than most WoS so I agree with you there. You should be able to find what I’m talking about as far as the Gold Label WoS goes by doing a search here on Snuffhouse. Happy Snuffing!
Aside from having to use coarser snuffs as the fine snuffs don’t work in my snout, I also prefer the “glow” that coarser snuffs give compared to the “hit” of the fine. As for nic levels, if it’s not enough, take another pinch. As such I’m much happier to wallow in SG snuffs, though I really like some of the flavours of WOS, but they need to be really fluffy and moist otherwise I can’t use them.

SG seems to have more subtle scents, WoS’ scents are more pronounced and strong.
