SG Kendal Brown/Crest Series/F&T

C

I am looking for plain snuff in these two categories. Kendal Brown: Original, Plain and Special…seems the Plain isn’t plain. Red, Blue, Yellow Crest: Which is the plainest, ie least scented? For classic SP I rely on Tom Buck, so don’t need one aggressively scented with bergamot/citrus/other. Other than HDT which is the least scented Fribourg and Treyer? Your opinions are needed. Cheers

I’ve had the Red Crest and it is very plain. It has a nice grassy tobacco scent and is very easy to snuff. The Crests also have a scented version so be aware when you are ordering. I’ve tried the Blue Crest Scented and didn’t care for it much, it was sickeningly floral.

Thank you. The scented ones remind me of Lakeland pipe weed; smells like grannies underwear drawer and tastes like ass. Can’t stand 'em.

All the F&T snuffs are scented, other than HDT. To me, the least scented of the rest is Santo Domingo. The violet absolute is rather a backnote, not a main scent. The dark, peaty, tobacco scent is there in abundance. It might be worth a try for you.

Oh I forgot, Yellow Crest is pretty plain too. Its sort of in between the red and blue, scent wise. And the base tobacco is mild.

I like the Red Crest. Very nice natural tobacco flavor.
