What a wonderful snuff, especially if, like me you have experienced the Firedance flake in a pipe. The flavour comparison is very similar but the black current / brandy flavours are more pronounced in the snuff. Its a medium to fine consistence I guess, and the aroma is fine especially if you are a fan of these flavours.

@Swampy‌ Agreed on both counts. I’ve been known to mill the flake into snuff after a light toasting. The base of Best Brown shows up as an improvement on the tobacco scent available in the snuff. I like Firedance evenings and late nights.

I’m glad you guys like it–I like the flake in the pipe, but the snuff, no so much.

I want to try this one, I wonder if SnuffStore has any yet. I’ll have a look tomorrow…

I love it and really miss it when I run out.

This is one I tried and tried to like (because I like the pipe tobacco) but every time I tried it it smelled like a chemistry set and floor cleaner. I still have it in a jar because you never know, but I’m pretty sure it’s a lost cause for me.

Benefits from airing out a little, then usable for occasional pinches. Mixing with a plain coarse tones it down and increases the frequency I can take it with. As such, I sometimes add this to a snuff box for a couple of pinches, then add some plain to tone it down thereafter. This is one I keep in bulk for that reason

I find it a bit to intense to so airing out a little might do the trick.
