Anyone bought a snuff they stuck in a drawer because thought it was nasty at first, only to give it another chance later on and find they liked it? This happened to me with Toque Violet and Lavender. I’m hitting them with gusto now. I guess you have to get used to sniffing bathroom freshener-type scents.

It happened to me with Toque Raspberry. It’s was one of about 10 snuffs that I got the first time I ordered (couldn’t find snuff locally). I absolutely hated it, sneezed every time and wound up giving it away. A few months later I was out in the field with the friend I gave it to and decided to take a pinch. It wasn’t even the same snuff I remembered. I really liked it. But, based on that 1st bad experience I had pretty much written Toque off as a company that didn’t make snuff I liked. I’m glad I gave them another try. I recently ordered a variety 10 pack from Roderick and I am really enjoying toque now…even the raspberry.

Toque Natural, Quit and Original. I suspect Toque snuffs improve with ageing, like a fine wine. Snuffs from other companies might already be quite old!

Poeschl Gletcherprise. Didn’t really take to it, but have recently acquired a taste for it. GH Strawberry, though I still hate with a passion.
