I love schmalzler but it’s not ideal for using when you’re out and about. A schmalzler flavored snuff sounds heavenly, does one exist?

Schmalzler isn’t a flavor, it’s a style.  If the grind is too gros for you, throw it in a pestle or coffee grinder.  

Listen to cstokes, he knows of what he speaks. Actually, you’d be surprised how heavy a grind an American Scotch is when made into a Schmalzler.

Clumping. When oil meets any type of grind.

There is a Brazilian snuff with a very similar flavour, if you can find any, and the grind is much finer than a Schmalzler. No oil though.

And it will blow your head off!  If only we could get more. :-t

Zweifacher would be my first suggestion, which is heavenly. Poschl’s Bayern Prise is the same sort of thing, but I haven’t tried it yet. As far as schmalzler flavored snuffs, I’m at a loss.

I don’t see a fine grind powder holding the flavors like the schmalzlers do. I just got the Poschl Perlesreuier in today, it’s lovely, but not so fruit cake like the others, and the best part is, if it takes me 3 months to get back to it, it will still be just as flavorful.
