I have some American Spirit Perique that I ground up and added Sodium Carbonate, Salt, and Distilled water to, and want to scent it with some really nice natural rose pinion resin inscense. I’m thinking since the stuff is made to be burned and smelled It wouldn’t hurt to put a burning stick in a jar to catch the smoke and marinade the snuff. I will call it Smoky Rose. Any reason I shouldnt put this in my nose?
i think itll be a bad idea. burn some incense and hold your hand over the smoke for awhile- your hand will stink.
Not to mention all the tar and oily residue from the burning of the incense. Incense will leave an oily sticky mess behind if you put something over the smoke. I wouldn’t waste it.
Crack fox idea… Sorry dude, but it is, move away from the crack bong, stop listening to those voices in your head, and heat yourself up some nice Ramen noodle soup - Best reconsidered!
Yeah, knew I might be out on a limb, but the Rose scent of this incense is really nice and It doesn’t have any artificial additives it is pinion Resin and rose. Tar was my first concern as well but I figure since the smoke is to be smelled, the little tar transferred from some smoke In a jar with the snuff shouldn’t amount to any harm. The voices in my head told me to put the Idea here first b4 I put it in my nose:p Actually did put a small test batch in a sealed jar and will see how it smells after A couple days. It may end up smelling like crap but it also might not. Can anyone tell me a tried and true way to impart A nice rose scent to my snuff?

Use some essential oil on a cotton swab and let the snuff soak it up. Rose comes in various concentrations and qualities. The 7% is reasonably strong enough for most purposes. http://store.isisbooks.com/Essential\\_Oils\\_Natural\\_Essential\\_Aromatherapy\\_s/284.htm?searching=Y&sort=7&cat=284&show=10&page=20 More expensive grades on this page: http://store.isisbooks.com/Essential\\_Oils\\_Natural\\_Essential\\_Aromatherapy\\_s/284.htm?searching=Y&sort=7&cat=284&show=10&page=21
alternatively, place the snuff near the incense without lighting it, both the snuff and the incense in an air tight container. The snuff will absorb the aromas through the air without it being lit. but your best bet is what @Xander mentioned here ^
Thanks for your input everyone!
