I purchased an old snuff container made of horn.
How can I sanitize it to make it usable again?
I am worried about inhaling nasties if it isn’t cleaned correctly.

I miss wrote. It isn’t a horn. But rather a snuff container made of horn which has a top ‘spout’ that lifts up to tap out the snuff…

I understood it the first time, apparently my statement could have been misleading, as English is not my first language. However, we still want a photo!
