I just looked around the Samuel Gawith’s website and in their list of snuffs is one called “Apple”. Did anyone here had it in the past ? How would you describe the “apple” in it ? Just sweet overkill or real “apple” flavour ? Any hints are very welcome because i am thinking of getting some “apples”…

No, its quite mild. In fact if you think Sam G.'s fruit snuffs are generally too sweet (as I do) this one is the exception. Its definately not a candy-apple. Is it naturally scented? Probably not, as real apple is a hard scent to capture in a snuff and there is no such thing as apple essential oil (as far as I know), but its not an overkill scent as you fear. It at least smells “real” even if its not. I think one or two members have it in bulk. I tried some through a trade with one of them, and it was nice and fresh.

@Xander believe it or not, i just read your review on it a few sec. ago on snuffreview XD and of course thanks for the comments. i am very interested in getting this one since i am a generally huge fan of apples and apple - flavour (be it chemical or not).

Well hopefully I had more to add this time around, except I’m only going on memory now.

I just dug out my tapbox of SG Apple; it’s pretty good, a definite apple scent, almost certainly chemically induced but quite pleasant. As Xander says, not too sweet or cloying. If you like apples you should get this one.

I have a half pound of it. It is quite a good snuff that is popular with just about anyone that tries it.

@cstokes4 i see, i will definitly go and try to get some

I received a sample of the Apple and can’t wait till the 25 g are available soon. Must try, PMaster!
