Mill: Medium Fine Color: Reddish Brown Menthol: Slight Nicotine: Medium Moisture: Medium (pliable between the fingers, yet not moist) I recently acquired this snuff from Snuff.me.uk I had read that it was flavored with Tonquin, or Tonka Bean if you will. This is a wonderful snuff, as is any from the Kendal mills of Samuel Gawith. The Tonquin flavor is very smooth and tasty, if you have smelled a Tonka Bean then you will understand the scent. This goes into the nose with little burn but much enjoyment. The menthol is very slight and really adds to the wonderful flavor of this snuff, it’s how menthol should be. Neither the menthol nor Tonquin are overpowering, they are in their rightful proportion. After both the medication and flavoring fade, a wonderful base tobacco comes through to round out the experience. I give this 5/5 pinches. It’s wonderful and should not be missed. For US customers, I was only able to find this at www.snuff.me.uk, which also sells Samuel Gawith in 250g drums, but UK and European customers can find it at My Smoking Shop.
Thank you! To anyone who doesn’t know tonka scent, its unique, but shares some similarities to vanilla and almond, IMO.

Oh and cstokes4, two great reviews. I just put some SG London Brown in my basket after reading you take on it
@ Snifs: Tonka beans are a good part of any snufftakers “kit” I occasionally put one in a snuffbox or use them to play around with scenting experiments. Snuffstore.uk sells them sometimes, look around. I got my local co-op health food store to special order me some as they carry lots of herbs and such.
