Seasons greetings folks. Now back to snuff. I’d be grateful for a review of SG’s aniseed. I’m a fan of their unscented snuffs and a fan of Wilson’s Aniseed & Euclyptus. So, do you think I’ll like this snuff? Thanks in advance for your comments.
Cheers @lunecat I’ll add it to my list. Wilsons A&E was an instant hit for me. I’m having to ration the 10g tin I have until my next Mr Snuff order.
The SG Aniseed had permanently Ghosted a wooden snuff box of mine. So designate a box.
Cheers @basement_shaman. I keep the SG snuffs in their original tins, with them being vacuum sealed. I haven’t got round to buying a designated snuff box yet, but no doubt will. Wooden or pewter. Which is best for keeping snuff fresh in your opinion?
Plastic- dedicated for SG Moist snuff in small Snuffhouse.org box or a small smashbox. It really depend on how well any boxes are made. Snuff will dry rather quickly in a leaky box. To determine how well it keeps . Best to only carry three days worth. I use a pewter box for my HDT,but it is a well made box, with plenty of miles. Keeps Toasts tasty My wooden boxes when sealed properly with waxing [inside and out] perform fine to keep my snuff fresh. The waxing seals the wood and prevents swelling also lubs moving parts. Best to use lower moisture snuffs but fine for moist, when properly sealed! My Silver Boxes rarely leaves the house. For personal reasons. Not every snuff box I own keeps snuff fresh. WARNING BUYING SNUFFBOXES CAN LEAD TO [SB.A.D.] ALSO A HUGE COLLECTION.
Thanks @basement_shaman
