Its strange to read that some members could not taste the coffee in he SG black coffee. It could have been a bad batch I guess, or maybe insensitive to the flavour. I find it is an excellent snuff in all respects. In the 10g dispenser it appears drier than the 25g tin, but I haven’t noticed a change in the flavour. Excellent all day coffee snuff in my opinion.

I have to totally agree with you @Swampy… To me it is the best of the ‘pure coffee’ flavored snuffs out there. Café 11 is a terrific snuff, but is not a pure coffee flavor…

I’m in agreement with both Swampy and Stogie; SG Black Coffee and F&T HDT are my two daily stalwarts. I like to spoon up others as the mood hits me, but those two are top of the list.

Can’t stand the stuff, I found my tin to be quite acidic and just not my cup of team, or coffee in this instance.

Love it, love it, love it. I’ve got through half a dozen 25G tins since last September. It’s the one snuff I find hard to do without.

Me too lol, I noticed a big difference in the moistness of the 25g tin (much better) compared with the plastic 10g. I used the 10g tap box and fill it with a couple of days worth from the 25g tin.

I don’t get coffee out of it but I do enjoy it quiet a bit.

@oldman357 it has been noted that there appears to have been differences in batches. Thankful, all of the batches I have tried have been a very strong, dark roast coffee flavor. As a person who loves fresh ground coffee, I can certainly appreciate the wonderful snuff and am certainly sorry that you have apparently received some from the ‘weak’ batch. I think that if you place some fresh, Whole, oily, dark roasted coffee beans in with your snuff for a few days, it should impart some of it’s good ness to the snuff. Just a thought.

If the 25g tin i receive is lacking in the coffee department I will put some coffee beans into it to try to perk it up.

I have to say S-G black coffee have been off in the flavor dept. I have sniffed dozen of cans and the last batches just dont add up. This has cause me to switch to Viking dark and Black magic. I was tempted to ship it back to S-G from the states but haven’t yet.
