Does anyone else love these snuffs as much as I do? My favorite would have to be Dr. Vereys Plus, but Full and Medicated are very nice too. Plus will blow your head off if you’re not careful. Full is very mellow and subtle with a nice mix of mint and spice. Medicated is almost as mellow as the Full with just a hint of menthol to it.

Yes, I’ve been using the range of three for well over a year now. The favorite with my nose is the Full. Anyone who hasn’t tried them yet do give them a try.

Will do. I need to expand my SG collection (and revaluate any I got in rusty tins). I can’t have Leman more than 100 snuffs ahead of me! Its just embarrasing. How many do you have on hand Snuff Head?

I have Dr Vereys Plus. Not one I visit very often, a tad too much camphor for me, but otherwise quite nice.

Menthol is an occasional thing for me, but SG puts out some great snuffs.

OK, Tried the “Full” Its really good, but I can’t identify it. Oddly herbal. Like Benadictine liquor or Angostura bitters. Anybody have some insight? snuffreviews hasn’t got much other than minty-spicy.

Does anybody know the story behind the name? Who was/is this doctor?

Maybe it was a real doctor. Maybe he’s like Dr. Pepper. This snuff reminds me of that in an odd way. Might be a touch of cola in this.

Ok, I’ve spent some more time with this. Cranberry. I think this is the long sought cranberry snuff. Anyone?

Well its an herbal mixture, no doubt. Root beer is a concoction of herbs as well. It stands to reason that some of those herbs could be in both.

Sure, no argument from me there. Seems to be one of those snuffs that can change every time it’s used.

Back when I was a boy root beer was made from sarsaparilla . It was creamy and rich, better than the imitation root beer of today. So if it tastes like sarsaparilla it is like root beer, just better.

Cranberry? Did someone say cranberry? I’ll have to try this now, though it’ll be an interesting pinch… I don’t like root beer, but I love cranberry. but I do like sasperilla… and peppermint and camphor, too… I’ll report back when I’ve tried it, even if it takes a while…

Dr. Verey’s Full has no menthol.

I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting CCC. Perhaps I should add it to my wishlist. Somehow I thought it was like Crumbs of Comfort. Looking at its few reviews, it seems that is not the case. It sounds like something I would like.

From what I remember, my CCC was a clove-herb-spice flavor.

CCC is quite similar to Dr. Vereys Full. I would say it is a milder version of it.
