idk who gave me this disease, however I believe I am a carrier and at a relatively high lvl. granted I am not really ordering bulk (besides up to 100g) I will be ordering atleast 200g or more next orders… ive placed 6 orders in the past week with intent to place another… how bad does this get? im enjoying it but its kinda bad isn’t it?
It leveled out after a while. It’s still lurking in the shadows. Now its just bulk orders every couple months and random smaller orders when new snuffs appear.
6 orders? My advice is to hold off till a weekend and save on shipping. Mine leveled off at about 120 snuffs. I stopped updating my Inventory spreadsheet about then. I finished off almost all of the Bernard’s tap boxes. I don’t know how I can run out as the potlucks I got from mr. snuff ended up as 6p 2.2 kilos super chetak, 600g 66, and 400g natural. I also got 500g Viking dark, menthol, peach, and spear. I also have 400g more potluck on the way… I just bought 2.5 kilos combined N C Arya Madras, Paanch Photo, Sugandh Sagar,Swastik Chaap,T.A.S. (now named T.P.S.) Madras. As for other bulks I would consider 130g scotches bulk, and I have Peach, Buttercup, Tube Rose scotch(not sweet),Rooster, and Navy sweet. Atleast 150g of WoS Brunswick and 200g Poschl Gletscherprise.
The only order that I really considered to be BULK was when I got 1 lb. of Tom Buck.
Thanks for the tip @johnnyfriday on ordering on a weekend. And I was definitely about to order some of those pot lucks but they went out of stock. I will most likely order some of those as soon as I can. ive also never heard of the madras where did you get that? Ive never tried gletcherprise or Brunswick ot Amy of the scotches. Were you suggesting I* order those in bulk? Ill take a pic of everything I have tried And all the next orders that are on the way And ill let ya know what I like And maybe you could suggest what I should try afterwards lol

I’m not really suggesting anything, just telling you what the results of my SAD were. I’d keep it varied until you find the style you like. For me, I really like toasts. Toque has a lot of variety there and for one scent British style he is king, but if I liked SPs I would probably gravitate towards WoS, WoS does a lot of two scent products, but I find most of them to be meh. Menthols poschl. Unique combinations/complex I would say Bernard for a schmalzer type and De Kranglnse for a drier more British style. Indian snuffs are a mixed bag. You have 6 photo, which does a lot of the traditional incense scenting, and Dholakia has more modern scents using it’s own distinct Indian tobacco flour. American scotches are just manly smokey/sweet nicotine dust. I haven’t really had enough SGs or Polish snuffs to say much about them. Of the G&Hs I have had, I don’t find anything that I couldn’t be happier with a toque or a WoS.
Have over 50 bulk snuffs so far. 33 in 600g, the rest in 450g or 500g. Nearly all Toque, WoS, McC’s, and SG. Got about another 20-25 on the wish-list. Have about 20 large tins of US Scotches also. Currently stocking up on bulk snus. Filling freezer. Goal 300-400 cans or whatever freezer can hold. TAD can take over your life. You’ve been warned.

Why do I even want bulk lol. I just started right under a month ago lol. @snuffysnuff ive never tried any good snus just the camel snuss which wasnt really much to speak of.
As a newbie, just try everything. Bulk can come later. Learn your preferences first. Camel is crap. Buy Swedish. But probably best avoided for a while. It’s damn good. Explore snus later imo.

First bulks I bought were all Toques. You really can’t go wrong with Toque.

@BigNose It varies. Anything between 5-15g p/day. Average 10g.

@JohnnyFriday try living in Australia with our super high tobacco taxes. Two years ago my wife and i quit the ciggies because we both smoked 2 and a bit packs each a day, and with the new big tax jump it was suddenly costing us $300 a week to smoke. The cost of smokes nearly doubled overnight and a month or so of that and it was too much. I smoke a pipe now and snuff and my wife smoke a few rollies made from Virginia pipe tobacco. Costs both of us about $30 in total a week, or a tenth the cost. They have just announced that they will be increasing the tobacco tax 50% over the next 4 years. How anyone can afford to smoke i’ll never know. edit:typo
I have the potential for unknown quantity of snuff…Quit smokin the briar & am grinding apprx. 30 to 40 lbs. pipe tobacco into snuff… I do not know what a lb. of pipe baccy makes in brown powder…At my age, this might be enough for the duration. I believe its fairly cost effective too. :(|)
I have three orders somewhere in Post Land, 2 from Dave and 1 from Roderick. I wanted my first order so bad I ordered two more batches. I justify it to myself because I am knocking back tins at an alarming rate. When you concurrently consume up to thirty varities, the tins empty slowly. However, when the first one is gone, the other 29 go almost in the same week. Although I realize this type of spending might not qualify me for treatment, I have the clarity to know that this is a warning sign. My only hope is to keep more snuff on hand than I can possibly use, thus convincing myself that the cart I keep on Toque and Mr. Snuff are just for looking at when I am bored.
No really,My purpose for existence is to consume tobacco in every possible form . I’ve got it bad! don’t notice any effects while consuming. It when I am not all hell breaks loose. Mostly ; it’s the ritual I crave most. All the motions to go through. If it 's the pipe; selecting what I want, rubbing it out, letting it air ,packing the bowl, lighting it up,tamping it down. Packing my lip with dip or snus ,hand baking or cutting out a pris or making a plug.Then there is snuff, my rotation makes me spin, snuff for nicotine,for enjoyment, for maintenance,for clearing,for dessert.Loading up the boxes and and the taking of, with a pinch ,spoon,boxcar. Then there is the occasional RYO hand rolled, single paper.The big and little cigars and the Dokha one hitters And the long leaf chew. That is just the using part then comes the shopping, How much can I get, sign up for chew coupons, Can I get a new pipe? that is a nice snuff box I will bid on that, so and so is having a sale on tobacco,free shipping this month best get those item I been wanting to try.spend $100 get free shipping,I need more storage jars! now I need more storage shelving.Time to clean my pipes.read reviews on tobacco ,Answer e-mails, make trades, go to post office.
