I’m curious as to people’s opinions on the strongest (in terms of nicotine rush) snuffs that are currently available. For me, its Toque USA Whiskey & Honey, I love to hit it when I’m a few drinks deep and getting sleepy. Perks me right up! Which snuffs do this for you? I imagine quite a few will say Toque Rustica, which I havent yet had the pleasure of trying yet, but surely a lot of people must have a favorite nicotine bomb / pick-me-up snuff?
May sound strange but the only snuff that have made me sit up and take notice of the nic content is Super Kailash. On the 6photo website it says they use Rustica so I ‘m guessing that’ s it. I’ve got some Toque Ambrosia on the way and am looking forward to that.

Being able to handle a good quantity of the snuff at a time makes a difference of course as well. Loading up large amounts of moist, dark snuffs can certainly do the trick but you might have to blow your nose a few minutes later

Quite a few, actually: Icelandic neftobak. NTSU black, both red Taxis. 6 Photo M.G. Madras, Cheeta Chhap Gul. FUBAR Toasted. V2 Thunder snuffs (sadly, discontinued; snuff.me.uk still has some on sale at the moment). Any fine cut (aka snuff) American dip or loose snus (I’m not kidding, every nicotine fiend should try it nasaly at least once). And yes, definitely - Toque USA W&H (haven’t tried Roderick’s rustica yet).

Tube Rose always gives me a pronounced nicotine buzz. Other American scotches are also strong, but of the ones I’ve tried, Tube Rose wins by just a few extra heartbeats.

@Shavasana Ambrosia is moist and medium grind - quite different from USA W&H. I always have the thought while I’m pinching it that the consistency is like a fluffy cake

F&T Santo Domingo packs a punch. Some of the darker, moister Bernards are very strong, although I suspect part of it’s from the back-drip (which I find delicious).

I second the Toque Ambrosia. I was an early entrant on that one. I still have 2 mason jars of that original batch. I grab it from the bedside table every morning. I’ll add Superior scotch snuff that is found at my local Food Lion grocery store. It has a nice kick.

@Shavasana An acquaintance of mine has some relatives working over there. I just ask for a horn or two from time to time when they come back home on a vacation. It happens once a year or so. Freaking high price stops me from hoarding it. If you happen be in Iceland, look for it at the airport (KEF) duty free shop, it’s a way (almost twice) cheaper there. @Shavasana Toque Ambrosia is a lot like a schmaltzer, but it has a lot of strength thanks to the Rustica. It is sneaky because of no nose burn. Easy to overdo it.

My old tin of Viking Thors Hammer still gives me a rush. Its 4 years old and still moist in its tin. More than white elephant or USA W&H

@canadiansnuffer I certainly get a lot out of it too. It’s much easier than most high strength snuffs to take in large volume, but it’s still not so coarse that much of said volume is just air. The V2 Thunder snuf I’m halfway through and that goes a long way as well. A good reminder I need to snatch up what’s left

My favorite in terms of a good, strong nicotine hit is Toque’s pure rustica, the fine milled version. Its the strongest snuff out there in my book anyway. Ive tried the infamous Indian whites but find Toque Rustica to be several grades more potent. The downside is that its not very pleasant and is difficult to take more than a pinch or two. That being said Toque’s USA whiskey and honey has much less nicotine per pinch but the sliky grind and welcoming scent allow for it to be taken by the shovel full, resulting in a near religious nicotine experience if so desired.

Another vote for Toque Rustica. Never had anything stronger. Easy to take with the wet finger dab & swipe method.
