Roderick @ Toque is a legend.

I know there have been countless topics and posts about the brilliant snuff and service provided by Toque but I feel like this needs to be said. On tuesday afternoon I made my very first Toque order, the ten tins deal. The only previous experience I’d has with Toque before now was trying some of my friend’s Pomegranate which had been open for some considerable time so I was really excited and looking forward to procuring some of my own Toque straight from the source. As the day came to a close, I went to bed, woke up and the order I had placed wasn’t even in my mind as I’ve come to expect a 3-5 day wait for anything I order from the internet, even if I pay handsomely for the postage, so with free postage I wasn’t holding my breath on receiving it before the weekend. When my doorbell awoke me on wednesday morning I couldn’t believe my eyes, a package from Toque! As far as I’m concerned Roderick cannot be commended enough for the service he provides, the fresh snuffs are absolutely superb. So far I’ve tried Original, Lavender, Pomegranate (to try test my theory that my mate’s snuff had gone a bit dry) and my favourite so far; St. Clement’s. I’ve gone through around a third of the tin already, I can’t keep this snuff out of my nose and with summer around the corner I can see this fresh, fruity companion coming with me to barbeques and garden parties. I have just one problem, you may have possibly spoiled other snuffs for me! With me dividing my spare time pretty evenly between cigars, fine rolling tobacco and snuff my snuff consumption doesn’t warrant buying in bulk, and I seriously can’t think of any tinned snuff that comes in such fine condition as Toque, except for my beloved F&T Macouba and HDT and my favourite WoS Camphor and Mild I may have found a replacement for every other snuff in my rotation. Thanks Roderick!

He does make good snuff, I got the 6 big tin deal and am very happy with my purchases. Is it just me or does Quit smell a bit like digestive biscuits? Love pomegranate, peppermint is AWESOME, rose is like snorting turkish delight, blueberry isnt my fave but is certainly nice and the menthol is a very nice companion to my other menthols. All are good snuffs. A friend of mine bought the ten tin deal, so ive sampled even more toque varietys including the infamous cheese and backon (quite possibly the most evil snuff going.)

I’ll have to go to World Market and get some Digestive Biscuits and report back!

The are the other tins I know I ordered but haven’t tried off the top of my head; Natural Rose Lime Toast Apricot There are two more but their identities escape me right now. I have no intention of trying the cheese and bacon but I’m planning on making another ten tin order quite soon so I shall check out the peppermint and Quit for sure. To be honest the whole basic principle of the Quit snuff doesn’t appeal to me as I’m still a dedicated smoker and appreciator of blended shag but I keep hearing good things about the flavour so I want to find out what I’m missing out on.

@cstokes4: Digestives are similar to Graham Crackers.

In scent or flavor?

@streetcarp Quit is a pleasant “plain” snuff. Tobaccoey! I just get a waft of digestive biscuits when i open the tin. This is a GOOD thing for all snuffers outside the uk, i love digestives. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digestive\_biscuit great with coffee.

Bish777, Do they give it the name ‘digestive’ because little children use them for teething, easy to eat…(like Zweiback?) edit Ok, I see now with the site there.

TO be honest I didnt know why until I read the article. I just ate the things!

Digestive biscuit, slab of strong aged cheddar, blob of ketchup…little sniff of Quit as a flavor enhancer…does it get any better? Methinks not.

the stronger and smellier the cheese the better!

it’s as though by posting this we should all get free samples for brazen hyperbole. hahaha

Found some Digestive Biscuits at a local Wal-Mart last night. Grabbed a few rolls. These things are very nice, I can see the similarities to a Grahm Cracker.

Is an Arrowroot Cookie a digestive biscuit? If not then I haven’t had the pleasure. Toque is a world class snuff, thanks Rod!

Ooh! I haven’t had an arrowroot cookie in ages! Make an arrowroot snuff, Roderick!

I don’t think so. These are labeled as Digestive Biscuits.

if you like digestive biscuits you should try hob nobs the chocolate coated ones are the best

They had those as well, but I’m no big fan of Chocolate, maybe I will get those for my Fiance.

@CommentAuthornasalgent no they are not the same biscuits.

All this talk of digestive biscuits and graham crackers makes me want a smores snuff. Graham cracker, Chocolate and marshmallows would be awesome in my nose. Oh yea, and Roderick needs to be knighted or sainted or something. Not only does he make great snuff, but he makes a product that changes and improves peoples lives. not only does he make the world smell better, but he helps people quit smoking. He’s like Mother Theresa of snuff in my book.
