Review: 6-Photo Special

The 6-Photo Special is my first experience with snuff from India. And what an experience at that! The colour of the snuff is anthracite with some sparkling bits that could be salt or something similar. It is medium fine and very moist. But then there is the flavour. I am very excited about that flavour, the same way I am excited about the smell in the streets of Hongkong, the scent of Asian food stores and the fact that one of my favourite scents (apart from hot, liquid bitumen and the fumes of a two-stroke engine) is Tiger Balm. The 6-photo special was therefore a “holy s*#t!” moment for me. That snuff is amazing and I can’t get enough of it. The menthol content is quite reasonable and refreshing while the burn in the nose barely lasts five seconds. The flavour stays in the nose for quite a long time, especially outdoors, and there is practically no throat drip. I admit this is probably my shortest review but definitely my most enthusiastic.

thanks for the review I was most excited about this indian snuff when i placed my order based on reviews. Now i can’t wait to get the order through customs!

The Special was the first 6 Photo snuff I ever tried, I received 3 25g tins as my pot luck on my very first Mr.Snuff order. At first I was hesitant to use this weird smelling snuff with a scorpion warning on the can but I am so happy I did. This is still my most used of the 6 Photo line but this got me to try them all and I like them all. For such an incense like snuff it is not at all overwhelming and it is very well balanced. The menthol/camphor aspect of it is near perfect and it never clogs me up. The other black snuffs, Motia, Kaliash, and Anarkali are great in their own ways also, as are the 6P whites and medicated.
