Okay I know this has been done before, but I was just wondering what the latest thinking is. To date, and mostly for use in the car, I’ve been using one of these: but already it’s beginning to crack and break - it was very cheap in the first place. The main issue with it is that it’s slightly fiddly to use, and unless the snuff in there has dried out a fair bit, it’s actually quite difficult to sniff directly from the bullet. I don’t mind paying decent money to get something little bit more reliable, and ideally something that might hold a bit more. What do you use?

A thumb and forefinger

The ‘Posh’ is very well made. They make a plastic one as well as the better chrome and brass ones. But, as n9inchnails says, your thumb and forefinger are better. Bullets are designed for drugs - however they are marketed - and just not that great with anything other than fine dry snuff and even then only if you take very small pinches With moist snuffs they tend to be pretty useless because the snuff gets compacted and you get endless blank doses due to the snuff clumping up . I’ve tried just about every one and none of them deliver a decent hit, but if they are your thing you can’t go wrong with a Posh - the metal ones are heavy and very decently made.

I suggest not using one. Every time a traffic cop sees you using it, you will be pulled over as a DUI suspect.

Idea… Based on experience. What ever on you use, place some Teflon Tape on the treads on the base, so it doesn’t open in your pocket.

Posh brass. End of story.

Thanks, and I understand the comments about not using one. But I find that sometimes having one about is the most handy and convenient way of taking snuff. I’ll look into Posh brass but last time I checked it looked pretty small.
