I know there are a few other threads regarding this wonderful snuff. But I just can’t get enough of it. It is one of the most dynamic snuffs i have had to date. That little bit of menthol brings all the flavors out like salt in a soup. This has become one of my go to snuffs…especially before bed with an egyptian mint green tea.
It’s regularly in my pocket!
Just have to try some of the fresh I have and I will give my 2cents. Been over 3 years since it was used by me. Been hording my stash as of the PACT. (people aginst consuming tobacco)
Been a firm favorite of mine since my first sniff. My thought is, in spite of the flak they tend to receive around here, Poschl makes some pretty awesome schmalzlers.
The best Poschl by far.
It’s very enjoyable and easy to get hooked on. I also like the Alpina too.
I could sniff Doppelaroma all day long as well.
I wish I could snuff Doppelaroma all day long but my nose dries out to the point of cracking with it (ouch).
Ouch, that sounds painful. What’s in it that is drying out?
I think it is the stickiness of it that keeps it adhering longer that keeps it from moving out to the booger section. The little micro tears I get are from the stretching motion I make when fiddling with my nose. I would do well to simply take a mini blow to wet my nose first. I realize it would take a fellow nose fiddler to understand what I just said. Tobacco itself is very drying, to answer the question. As to this thread, Radford is now on my must try list.
Thats why I’m not a fan of coarse grinds, they tear up my nose like that. I’ll use a coarse sometimes but I could never use it as a daily habit.
For me it seems best to alternate.
Try getting away from menthols to avoid this problem. Has worked fo me and still got my share of them.
