I notice some of oyu have wooden Wilsons of Sharrow Labeled boxes, may I ask where to aquire one of those. Also, the rams horn on their website they state is also for sale in places, has anyone ran across one online? Thanks but im looking for some cool toys to go with my new habit,lol. Happy Snuffing
I’d go with a box from Patrick Collins before I got one of those behemoths. I don’t have one, but poke around the various online tobacconists listed on the page in the FAQ section. I think most of the UK outfits have them.
Ok, saw that MArs carries one and that Wilsons Ram horn is over 300 bucks… whew, maybe one day but no time soon
Grim, I got mine from: www.marscigars.com …Love it!..I’ll be ordering another one. Very good, snug fitting lid, and you can slide it open while holding, all with one hand. Just tap some out or take a pinch. These are great snuffboxes, they hold an ample supply of snuff, and they’re not too cumbersome.
I had one, and traded it off. They are well made, and hold a lot of snuff.
Also McGaheys and Greens of Leeds. Great boxes but on the large size for me, I like a more compact box like the Pat Collins ones. However, the Wilsons are superbly made and will last a lifetime, also absolutely no leaks which is surprisingly rare in a snuff box. The rams horn table boxes are about £300 I believe.
It’s funny the ram’s horn was brought up as I was just talking to Wilson’s about it. The cost is £280 and takes 6-10 weeks for delivery as they are hand made. If I had the money I would definitely consider buying one. Alas, I don’t have that kind of money sitting around, but the pewter snuff boxes look pretty neat and only cost £20.

I got my wilson’s box from the snuff shop. They deliver out of TX, and I got my shipment in AZ less than 48 hours later. I am looking into the onefortheroad boxes, but haven’t made up my mind yet. The wilson’s box is a little large for carrying in your pocket every day. But, I keep mine in my computer bag. Size apart, the Wilsons and Pat Collins slide lid boxes are the only snuff boxes that I’ve ever come across (Ive got about 20 from antique silver to new ones) that are completely snuff-tight, good price as well. Also, Wilsons seem to do the pewter ones about £20 cheaper than anywhere else?
