Just had them in, and I felt like doing a quick review : Berwick Brown : Nice and Yes, Brown 
Dark fresh snuff, lemon-ish, Love it! Course grind ( reminds me of the Molens Grind ) Espresso - Finally got this one. Nice Aroma, easy to take, nice in the morning and after dinner. Lavender : This is AWESOME. Really, it Blew my head off. Like walking in a Field full off Lavender plants. GOOD Job Roderick! Natural Toast : Great Toast! Better then HDT ? No - different. Like it. Very smooth on the nose though! St Clements : Oranges, Oranges, Oranges! Very nice, as rich in flavor as the Lavender. Top Notch! Love it! Whisky & Honey : What do I need to say, great as always. Just needed the Refill. But hey, Fresh from Roderick is much better then the one laying around for a few weeks/months. Quick Delivery too, thanks Roderick!
You may have tipped the scale for me to placing my first order with Roderick. I’ve found so many Toque snuffs that I want to buy in bulk, the day is coming. Thanks for seconding my thought about St Clements too! I haven’t tried Lavender or Espresso, so you’ve given me some new ideas – thanks some more.
I still have yet to try the Lavender- my next goal. My last order, I bought a tin of Absinthe. I’m fan of licorice, but didn’t know how this would compare. I love it! Outside of the Menthol, my favorite Toque thus far.
I’ve spent the first twenty summer holidays of my life in a small village (pop. 800) near Bellagio (Lake Como, Italy). There used to be fields aplenty, with big haystacks of, well, hay and the various wild herbs that grow on the hills - Toque Lavender reminds me of those: its “whole plant experience” bouquet is wonderful, not “perfumey” at all but wild, untamed. Lovely.
The Lavender is decent, just got some yesterday – but to be honest I prefer the Violet slightly and the Rose by a mile. Of course I prefer the flavours in that manner in all things I’ve tried them under so take it purely as my mileage rather than any difference in quality. These are certainly very nice florals, though they are a bit soapy in the tin, it doesn’t transfer to the nose. Actually 10 of the tins I got smell pretty much the same in the tin so I’m gonna assume I need to try them all again on different days instead of trying 10 flavours in 2 days. I imagine I didn’t get the proper scent of anything but the first each day. Still, all very good.
