Hi I’m just wondering how does Toque Bourbon compare to the American Scotches? I ask because I love the Bourbon. If the Scotches are similar I might start believing there really is a god
I find them “similar”, though the toasts seem more flavorful, bolder, with hints of nuts and butter. I don’t get that with scotches.
Similar sounds good. Thanks
For me there is no comparison between scotches and Toque Bourbon. It’s like comparing apples and oranges.
The only thing they have in common is that they are both dry and fine grind, other than that as Pieter says apples and oranges
Scotch is the style of grind and toast as in Scotland, not scotch whiskey. FYI
Ah, I see, @rdunnion … My mistake and thanks for clarifying that for me.
And Scotches and Toasts are two completely different animals altogether.

Yea, what he said.
you said all together.
No, I said “altogether” haha!
Nothing compares to Scotch, its in a class of it’s own
Levi Garrett rocks!
I never had toque’s Bourbon personally, but a friend told me it was like a scotch that went to finishing school in the UK.
What a fantastic description @bipolarbear1968. I can’t wait to get my schnoz in to the scotches I recently ordered.
Received the Scotches I ordered from mr snuff and nicorush and all I can say is WOW! Love at first sniff. Will be ordering a few large tins of some of these esp rooster and bruton. No problems snuffing them either which I’m pleased about.
Please excuse the posting-too-much enthusiastic beginner but I have to say I’m really impressed by the nico content of these Scotches. Had quite a few room spins today yay!!!
No no, you silly wabbit., the vicarious experience is much appreciated.
Thanks @Justaposer.
@OscarWabbit I have found i really like Rooster and Brunton,i have had issues with my nose running from the UK snuffs but Rooster and Brunton have givin me hardly any issues at all, plus they are very strong so go slow i have found out, lol.
Hi buffalo. I’ve been sampling about 35 scotches today and they really kick ass hehe. Very enjoyable but easy to over-indulge as you say. And you’re right, they don’t clog my nose up at all either. Rooster may well become my ‘wake up’ snuff. Obviously it’s going to take time for my nose to adjust to the different aromas than other non-scotches. I’m withering. It’s the wine and my Scotch-laden mind. So I’ll shut up now.
