I have searched the threads and couldn’t find the answer so… Roderick, why is Toque named Toque? I know that a Toque is a type of hat, but other than that, I’m pretty clueless.
I always guessed it was a play on the word toke. Tom502
I thought that at first as well.
The first snuff bullets made by Toque looked like a toque, hence the name.
As an American, I have no idea what a toque looks like, or is. Tom502
It’s a chef’s hat
Then I would think it’s also related to the word “toke”. And I gotta get a hat like that. Tom502
Old English? That’s AWESOME! Has anyone ever heard Old English being spoken? It’s quite eloquent. EDIT: Here is a video of the first verse of Beowulf in Old English. CLICK
