As I look into my tin of PVT 2015 I am realizing that I don’t have much left at all. So I was wondering if anybody had a suggestion of something that remotely has the same scent? I will be very sad when this tin is completely empty. It is really my go to at the moment.
My best attempt to compare PVT with a non-Old Mill snuff would be Samuel Gawith Irish D Light. …but that’s a bit of a stretch. They’re both kinda sweet toasts - Chef Daniel’s toasts were a genre of their own, .
Were they ever, just a wonderful scent comes from PVT. I really wish I would have put in one more order…I was waiting for the release of lemoncelo which I don’t think ever released.
I have one large tin in reserve. Someone will have to pry it from my cold dead hands.
I don’t blame you, I just burned through a good amount of what I have left. Didn’t realize I was doing it, watching gold rush, the season premiere.
Brothers and Sisters: PVT is probably my all time favorite snuff. Well, that and Puro Dominicana. About 2-3 months ago, Chef Daniel told me that new productions of both PVT and Limoncello were coming along. I wish that I’d asked him to elaborate. I had already ordered the large amber jars of each.
I think that I mentioned this previously, but I plan to tear Daniel’s snuff lair/lab apart looking for both of these. 'Course, I would have zero knowledge about snuff that are “resting,” as he called this stage. That’s where all of you come in. I’ll be relying heavily on the vast store of knowledge in this community. Stay tuned for more info at the end of November. BenZion.
@BenZion thanks for keeping us updated. Hopefully someone here can provide some insight. I’d like a chance at one more order of his stuff.
I would love a tin of each of those. That would be wonderful to have a chance at some more of that awesome snuff.
PVT is such a wonderful snuff and it ages to a semi-sweet graham cracker like scent. It is probably the best single snuff in the world!
I’m anxiously awaiting for my tin of pvt.
