Does anyone know what the current laws/regulations are regarding the posting of tobacco products to and within South Africa. I would like to place an order with Mr Snuff but want to be sure first. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
We ship regularly to and from South Africa with few issues.
@snuffer you may have to pay a customs duty, but its legal. Our longtime SA member @PieterClaassen complained of this once or twice, but I know he made lots of orders.
Great, thanks.
New Tobacco Control Legislation 4 Prohibitions in respect of tobacco products (5) (a) No person shall sell, offer to sell, supply, distribute or buy any tobacco product through the postal services, the internet or any other electronic media. (b) The prohibition contained in paragraph (a) does not apply to any commercial communication between a tobacco manufacturer or importer and its trade partners, business partners, employees and shareholders. I found this on Wesley’s Tobacconists website.
Good idea, I’d buy one
Go public @Roderick ! I’ll buy
@Roderick Brew Dog do it, and their beer is some seriously good stuff. I would buy toque shares.
I bet it would help launch the brand.
Yes, and you can make a line of shareholders choice snuffs for us.
I don’t know how it works in the UK, but a US company doesn’t have to be public to sell shares. It’s just a different process…
