Okay… can someone give me a DETAILED direction on how to use this darn thing?!? Came with no directions… when searched online it give vague turn left for small dose…turn right for greedy dose garbage. Current snuff is Poschl Gawith Apricot and I am getting very inconsistent sniffs from this thing sometimes it doesn’t work and then sometimes it feels like the snuff is going through my brain!! Please help!

Don’t worry, you didn’t waste your money! The Poschl snuffs are just a bit too moist, and the parrafin used to moisten them also makes them prone to clumping. The first step is to find a snuff that you like that doesn’t clump…a little experiamentation will be in order here, but if you enjoy menthols, the UK menthols would be better suited, and Dholakia medicated would probably be the perfect. From what you’ve said, I believe you are are using it correctly…turn it upside down, turn the lever to the left or right depending on the dose you prefer, turn the bullet right side up and twist the lever straight up and down to where your “dose” is showing. Then the next step is to get your snuffing technique down. Just a slight inhale with the nose will suffice…no need to snuff heavily. In no time at all you’ll be a pro! Hope this helps, as I am not a frequent bullet user, but these are some tips that have helped me in the past.

Also the Posh bullet was designed for cocaine, not snuff. It might work with a fine-dry snuff, but I’m not spending the money to find out.

That’s my experience with bullets too, that the more moist snuffs don’t work as well. One thing I found to help was to tap it on a hard surface when it’s in the upsidedown position, to kind of settle the dose in its cavity. Then spin the bullet upright and inhale. But I never was able to get a ‘full’ dose in a bullet and have since graduated to pinching. I admit I haven’t tried the Posh bullet, which sounds like it might be better in that regard.

K well I’ll use it as a snuff box at work for now and try again with a drier snuff from my next order. Thanks guys.

Just a quick update for anyone else who may have problems with the Posh Bullet. I’ve found that twisting the base all the way left and then all the way right while sniffing gives you a quick double dose. Never fails… you get snuff every time. Ever since I learned this little trick its been working like a charm no matter how moist the snuff is.

Don’t know if this has been said yet, but make sure you cover the screw hole when filling, easiest way is to just to use the screw itself. If you don’t block this off snuff will get in and you won’t be able to tighten the thing back together

My experiences with bullets pretty much agrees with the above views. Good for beginners and on-the-go use for small doses of powdery snuffs. I just don’t have occasion to use them much anymore. Using a bullet in public was the only time I was confronted with suspicion of illegal drug use. I think they still have a valid use, but my current snuff habits have lead away from using them much for now.

Actually, I can still see a good use for a bullet when I’m driving. That’s the big downside to taking snuff regularly, is how to do it safely and drive at the same time. The bullet helps bigtime. Just have to take a lot of snorts!

Bullets are convenient but it’s like drinking wine out of coffee cup…it just does nothing for it. When all is said and done they are coke bullets and they just never seem to add anything to the experience, plus every time I use a bullet I am forever getting blank or missed doses.

My fiance loves her bullet. I never get a good enough dose outta one even when I make the dosing hole bigger- I’m a pincher myself… or back of hand…

Regardless of the original intent of the bullet, I find it works great for Dholakia White, and White Elephant on the go…i just use a cheap acrylic one with a glass resevoir…so I guess to each his own. =)

This type bullet I did not like, They are difficult to fill, and then difficult to use, heavy too… They other style with the valve at the top are much better for my use. I have noted several people speaking of not getting a proper sized pinch for Bullets. I have no such problem. I am smart enough to figure out how to use them correctly.

@Gimpy1261 LOL at your comment about being smart enough to use em. At my work we call that operator error!! (and I agree with you there) However, the reasons you state you dont like the Posch is the exact reasons I like it. For a beginner it gives just the right amount of snuff for each nostril and it holds enough snuff to get me through an 8 hour day at work which is what I wanted it for. The weight is nice in my hand and it feels sturdy… not like cheap plastic.

@snuffnpuff I am glad you are enjoying your posch bullet. Different strokes for different folks. Variety in products is probably why we in America live so happily. I was not downing them at all. I like the clear easy to use ones is all. FischTix you can have the one I have. PM ME

@snuffnpuff I just recently started using a bullet. It’s mainly for my super fine snuffs, the cheap one works pretty well, but u can’t change the dose size, and the Posh looks so dang nice. That’s very generous of you Gimpy!!!

I’ve got no problem with the original intent of a bullet it’s just that they are built to deliver a smaller dose. Sure you can double up but apart from that I always seem to get just as many blank doses where nothing comes out. The reason for this, and you can see it happening in a see thru bullet, is that the snuff clumps and forms a plug. About the only way I find them of use, and here the smaller dose is handy, is when using something like dholakia white, white in one of those smaller metal bullets that Toque and others sell is a pretty fair substitute for a pull on a Marlborough by the way. But all in all I always think they are a good idea that just doesn’t work that well. I think new snuff users who haven’t developed the urge for the larger pinch of snuff probably like em a bit more, but when you like to shovel the stuff in they are a touch weak.
