Posh Bullets - Aluminum VS. Titanium Plated Brass

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading about bullets and it seems like most people who use them are inclined to say that the posh bullets are the way to go. I’m wondering how the colored aluminum bullets compare to the chrome plated brass “ultimate” ones? How does build quality compare - one sturdier than the other, etc.? Are they shaped differently? Which do you prefer? Etc.

Bullets are good for shooting that is my opinion.

That is not helpful. :-w

Yea I know; I find bullets useless, they don’t deliver enough. I have a few. Posh are less maintenance no rubber to lube and the action is on the bottom not the side.

Snuffmaster is a good alternative for bullets.

I find the QWS bullets work well for me while driving or out and about, hold lots of snuff, but need to be modified–the air inlet on the side is too small and needs to be drilled out. A #43 drill in a pin vise fixes that in 10 seconds. Posh bullets are heavy, don’t hold much snuff, are a pain to fill.

In answer to your question, the Chrome plated version is ‘heftier’ feeling more solid in the hand. The colored versions are ok but the silver one is smoother. otherwise, they work the same. I have both and find that over time I have definitely drifted away from their use trending to more traditional methods. Whatever you choose, enjoy!!!

Bullets don’t work well with moist course snuff. I agree with mouse they are a pain to fill. They have a small screw in the bottom; And you have to screw it back in before you fill or the screw hole gets filled with snuff, then undo, replace the bottom and return the screw. Spend your money how you like. I never use Aluminum or Copper with snuff or any other tobacco products for health reasons.

Thank you for the straight forward answer, Stogie. I appreciate that. Regarding health risks… I can understand the health risks attributed to aluminum, but bronze is supposed to be okay unless it is a high leaded tin based bronze. Most manufacturing businesses are aware of that and are careful with what they use. I would be surprised if they chose that kind, but I don’t know. I’m assuming all of these products are produced in China.
