Presumably they have purchased rights to the name and recipe.

Went and got myself a one of these from local tobacconist only a couple of hours ago. Lost the last one.
Although not a favorite I like the Gawith Apricot and frequently take this and the Cola to work just because they keep well and the containers are perfect for out and about. Poschl products are really good but there are so many great snuffs out there that I find myself not using them as often as I did when I first started snuffing. Right now is an excellent time to be into snuff.
Gawith Apricot is one of the few “menthol” snuffs I do enjoy, for me its got enough menthol whilst keeping the sweet apricot flavour … (unlike the whiskey which seems to have nothing to do with whisky, or the cinnamon that has no real cinnamon flavour, Just my opinion 
) I guess i just enjoy Roderick’s natural flavourings when going for a flavoured snuff… (Mull of Oa the exception to my rule as its my favourite whiskey snuff!) I agree the Gawith containers are handy, especially when I have forgotten to fill a box.
