I have a friend who is interested in trying snuff and he saw that Mr. Snuff has snuff from Poland on it. Anybody ever try the Stok or Paul Gotard brands? If so what would you recommend?
didnt like PG apricot… Toque much better… Much better… Got the PG collector bottle gooseberry… Tasted it slightly… Very interesting and intriguing … Has a sharp slight mentol undertone aroma… Like it… But will have to spend more time with it… Stok ne’er tried it… Was out of vanilla when ordered …may tell you something
The stok snuff I didn’t really care for. Mostly cuz they contained menthol even in the vanilla I believe. I ordered 4 of em when the came available on Mr snuff so I don’t remember exactly which one it was. I traded them all shortly after i got them. It might have been the strawberry or both I’m not sure. The PG I haven’t tried many but the rum I love.
I gotta add about the PG GOOSEBERRY ( I do not care for Menthols) but it was so slight in there but sharp… I was intrigued and thought it was certainly quality snuff fine grind and moist… Which is strange ( I think ) certiainly will buy other types of PG collectors in future if still available
Don’t wanna stter u wrong… Went back gooseberry after writing and it’s got more menthol than I thought … But flavor interesting and sharp… Wouldn’t use on regular basis … But a snuf here and there… I’m a toast, natural ( taxi.) and flavored ( shot of rum, whiskers) or desert or coffee kind of snuffer… Also abraxas cafe 11 , fin , Cherise and all sir walter Scott kinda guy… Sorry couldn’t be more help … But wanted to correct second comment
I believe they are both made by the same company. Mostly IMO they are desert snuff ,not an all day snuff.Most of the PG i tried were slightly mentholated .Not very noticeable but there none the less. So if your menthol intolerant they are not for you.
Have to agree w above. BUT. Since you are a pipe smoker you should appreciate and enjoy Paul Gottard’s Latakia. Not exact, but with that smokey goodness, and NO menthol…
just tried the amber in a bottle, it was an awesome snuff and the bottle kicks ass.
I’ve had PG grape and the latakia. The grape is good (one of the best grape snuffs i’ve had) and has no menthol. The latakia isn’t nearly as good as Molen’s Latakia
@tobe Paul Gothard vanilla is not nice and no vanilla sent. But grape is nice it’s a bit artificial but sweet nice fruit sent. Slight burn but no backdrip. The stok banana is not really my snuff. There is not a real banana sent and not really sweet I don’t know how to explain.
I love Stok Banana because of its natural banana scent as compared to SG Banana, which is my second favorite banana snuff. Stok Banana is definitely not sweet, I agree with you there, but no banana scent? Maybe you should try it again another time.
