Just looking at my Activity Board… I noticed that I have “151 Points” but, since there is not a pull down, I have no idea about what they are or how I got them! Can anybody enlighten me?
You get points for earning badges, making comments etc. Its kind of a rating of how active you are. You can see which badges you’ve earned on your own profile page and also how many “likes” and “agrees” you have earned. Some badges are worth more than others. I have to look in the mod’s dashboard and see. I’ll post it back here.
Points are from Likes ,Agrees and badges. The L&A = 1point each time you get one, the badges give different value points and there is no chart to look at to say what they are worth.Or what the next badge Plateau value. Congats on your achievement. When you click your user name above Activity is Reactions with Agrees with a number and Likes with a number click on one or the other and a list of your comments are in that or both category if you received a like and an agree, also the avatar of those whom granted you the honors. My Likes stopped at 1.1K don’t know why and really don’t matter , Points have no material value. More of a virtual trophy and it a constraint on my practice of ego deflation. And it more than likely the reason. Catch 22
Well I just looked but couldn’t find the information. There used to be said chart in the mod’s dashboard. I can see all the available badges there, but can’t edit them or see what they are worth. Its rather odd, actually. I can only see how many have been earned. I think I was able to do so before, but vanilla may have changed it. I don’t go in there often though. We can create new badges, and it looks like @cstokes4 has crafted one for writing 50 reviews, though there is no icon for it as yet. I do remember that 1st comment is worth more than 10th comment which is worth more than thw 100th etc. I think the same applies to anniversaries, but I can’t verify it ATM.
I’m still trying to figure out custom badges. I may have to get Vanilla involved. One day it will happen.
I heard that when I got 1k likes that I would receive a coupon for a free “Happy Meal” at McD’s. What happened? (laughing)
