Wilsons of Sharrow in the uk do a box 0f 12 small tins of their english snuffs. 12 assorted small tins for around 18 US dollars (12 GB pounds) plus postage. They post worldwide. It is not technically a finished product, say from nicotinerush. they sell it right to the point of grinding. Just a thought. Jacob
The Wilsons 12 tin boxes are great in that they are totally random picks of their snuffs. you never know what you will get which means you may end up trying some snuffs you might not intuitively pick out for yourself. Result: the opportunity to try a snuff which you may end up loving! Dave
Nice solid order. but like the consensus, can’t go wrong with the Wilson’s gift boxes. And that list you have has some of my go to’s/never fails.
You did order enough snuff, but maybe not enough of a variety for you to get a clear picture of all the variations on the theme. With this order you’ll get a picture of the English medicated,scented and plain, the Toast style, the American Scotch. Even though you have a sweet Scotch you will have a good idea of what a plain may be like. What you are missing are the German style shmalzlers, the South African Gwayi style, the India masalas, the English dark rappees, and the SP style, which even though is an English would be worth sampling specifically due to bergamots overwhelming popularity as a snuff scent. Toque Lavender is delightful - if you like *lavender* as opposed to *lavender perfume*. Plenty plant there, really, it’s like rolling down a lavender-covered hillside (minus the bugs).
thanks to everyone. @pgcd. I do and will see if I like it. I tried to get a varied but conventional order for my first order. this was to get a representative feel for the basic choices. If it works like I think, the nic hit, quit cigs, then I can begin to explore the nuances of the different categories of snuff. BTW there are some snuffs that I will never order. Olfactory memory. Some aromas are associated with former BSC women. I am old enough to have run into that gauntlet of psycho bitches before I met my wife. ANYBODY else have memories that prohibit you from certain smells? OR aromas that remind you of good memories. That might be a good thread… Maybe I’m just weird. take care. ps. yes I know women have their stories of crazy guys too.
