Good afternoon, could anyone please recommend a UK supplier for snuff. I’m particularly interested in the Abraxas, F&T, Toque. Placed an order with Snuffstore.co.uk two weeks ago and nothing has arrived yet. It’s driving me mad waiting. Has anyone else had problems ordering from them? Any recommendations for a place to buy that delivers quickly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This provider has usually been very reliable for me; three days delivery max - Have you chased them up concerning your order? This one and MrSnuff probably have the best ranges of products. You could try mysmokingshop too, they do a little bit I believe though I’ve never ordered snuff from them.

Hello MisterPaul, yes I’ve contacted them, problems with the warehouse / database, it must just be a bad run for them. The range of products does look great there but if there is anyone else recommended I can get an order in asap as my nose is twitching to try some of the good stuff.

Snuffstore is mrsnuff. no chance of abraxas from anyone else (up to now, its exclusive). try this thread- http://www.snuffhouse.org/discussion/7623/how-many-internet-snuff-shops-do-you-know-of I have excellent personal experience with black swan (backy shop) and mysmokingshop, and both the manufacturers you are after sell the snuff from their own sites.

For Toque go to Toque toquesnuff.com/index.php For F&T and Wilson’s go to Wilson’s sharrowmills-online.com/ That way you get the snuffs at their freshest and the service from both is excellent.

I would second the suggestion from @MisterPaul and check out http://www.mysmokingshop.co.uk/ I have not - as yet - ordered any snuff from them but they do seem to have a pretty good range although not Abraxas or Toque. I did order some pipe pouches and a snuffbox from them a few weeks ago. I placed the order at midday on a Friday and the items arrived with me by lunchtime on the Saturday so about 24 hours which I would call excellent service. I also forgot that they introduced the Viking range of snuffs which a lot of people here rave about. Had I remembered then I would have ordered some of that as well.

I usually order from snuffstore and my smokingshop and up to now luckily have had no problems snuffstore do carry a wider range though.Also highly recommend toques home site very quick delivery from them. Hope you get sorted soon nothing worse than waiting for your snuff order to turn up.

@Roderick - There is nothing wrong with old school. I still remember - not that long ago - when one could rely on a handshake to seal a deal. I have noticed that the “customers come first” principle is still prevalent in the world of snuff - I only wish that some of that attitude would seep out into the rest of the commercial world. Well done.

Toque Snuff & Mrsnuff has always treated me well.

I may have spoke to soon my order withsnuffstore is showing processed only ,normally its shipped out quick but not this time. Hope its sorted soon

Email from snuffstore today said that due to the long weekend the warehouse had been closed but will be open on tuesday so hopefully should be here this week. My order from toque I made on friday arrived this morning Roderick your a life saver count me as another regular!!

When you order from Wilsons site does it matter that id be paying with USD?

The “new” credit card rules are actually about 5 years old. When Wilsons opened their webshop the rule was already in place. In the middle of their grand opening sale, we US customers got the bad news that they were going to have to follow it. They ended up accepting paper checks sent through regular mail from US banks. I’m sure they took a loss on that. Now to ship to the US they’d probably require a bank transfer, and you’d have to check with you bank on that. I know mine charges $30 just to do it. Don’t worry about Mr. Snuff. Its nothing about being a US based company. They use a different card processor (as does Toque and Snuff me.uk). All of the old school online tobacco sales in the UK all made the same rule at the same time. Apparently they all use the same cc processor. We have thread after thread about these topics if you look in the archives here and want to know all the details.

Order from snuffstore was delivered today so even with their database problems and being closed for a holiday its still only taken a week from placing my order to get here…so I cant complain about that

I’ve had several orders in the past and never a problem.

Certainly looks like snuffstore have sorted the problem I placed a order at 11.30pm Wednesday night and it arrived this morning that’s what I call exceptional service.
