Recently the one place I was able to purchase snuff from stopped celling it. It was a nice cigar shop up the street from my house. They just weren’t selling enough is what they told me. The only other place I have seen any is the Food Lion but its only American Scotch types which I am not fond of. I have tried poschl and I enjoyed the President. I also tried Gawith Appricot and liked it. I have looked on Mr. Snuff and there are a bunch of types that I would like to try but I have not placed an order. I would really like some place local I can at least by limitted types. ( I know they won’t stock a lot).
As a fellow Marylander all I can say is good luck. I drive into West Virginia to order, and have my orders sent to a moonshiner I know there. Only legal way I know of…! Then when I want to consume some of that snuff, I just get in the car, drive across state lines, retrieve it, and relax with a little snuff. God bless America eh?
As far as a legally licensed and stocked shop in the area, write to the Governor and ask him to recommend one.
Personally, I would go with Mr. Snuff. I think what ever you would get here in the US might go through an importer and could be very old and stale snuff. I’m speaking from experience. Once I tried directly from UK stores, I was blown away by how much different the fresh stuff was from the stale tins I had been getting.
+1 for Mr Snuff from another People’s Republic of Maryland resident
Quit your job ,get a small business loan and open up a snuff store at your most busy mall. Problem solved! Just remember not to snuff up your profit line.
I found a good selection of scotch snuff there in one of the cigarette outlets. If you want anything beyond that you pretty much have to order online. I daresay 90% of the membership of this forum can find no snuff locally, or almost none.
