Here’s a question for you snuff sages. I love the smell of English blends, high latakia blends, the higher the better. I just love the smell, unburnt and burning. I wonder how nice a snuff one could make with, say Pirate Kake or Nightcap, or Penzance. The Windmill Latakia - I have some, and although it is very tasty, does not smell at all like Pipe-tobacco Latakia to me. Any comments? Recommendations? Thanks
I haven’t had much luck with those blends. Though I would be interested in making a Pembroke snuff.
I have made decent orange and spearmint snuffs using a black cavendish that I had toasted. The Orange is somewhat similar to DeKralingse, Jaaps puts mine to shame though lol.
Just get some straight Latakia, usually sold as a blending tobacco and use that. Makes a wonderful snuff without much nicotine.
