Pipe Nails seem really elusive around these parts so I ordered some from MarsCigars and of course having to ‘make it good’ for the shipping cost I had to buy a ton of them (and other things as well) to make up for it so I am now the proud owner of a few 10g tins of interesting looking (mostly alcohol related) flavors of “blast” and “Wow” snuff, three more czech tools (also very elusive around here and these have much longer handles than my original one) and a total of 10 pipe nails (yes, count 'em ten!) I know a few here have suggested (and I think use) the czech tools here too, and it was here I got the idea for the pipe nails, and they seem to be working out alright (just got this order in today so I’ve not had a great bunch of experience with using the pipe nails) Anybody else here actually use these for snuff taking? what do you think of them?
well, more or less about like my (one shorter original) czech tool I guess. I have to use just the tip of it the same way, both have too big of a scoop or ‘snuff resting’ area place to ever use the whole thing… but the pipe nails are very inexpensive in and of themselves (less than a buck apiece) and I have 10 of them now so I can place one at my OTHER snuffing spot (on the step stool I keep beside the couch that doubles as a sort of 'end table) and if the cat whisks one away at least it won’t be the end of the world (this cat seriously whisks everything away, even my eye glasses from me when I go to sleep if they aren’t lodged deeply under my pillow, I will wake up to a fat paw stuffed there and a clattering of my glasses to the floor, just a 30 seconds delay from stopping him and they’ll be gone to the nether-regions of wherever everything he takes goes, there is already one pair of eye glasses, an ear irrigating sqeezy bulb and at least one remote control gone to there). Maybe I should tie one to a lanyard and keep it around my neck (to avoid ten pipe nails and now 4 czech tools also going there too).
The Brebbia nails are nice.
