do you find pinching very tight kills most of the effects that the snuff can offer i mean it seems like it would. if its gone from a loose good covering powder with gentle pinch to one big clump with a tight pinch. i dont know if what i am asking makes sense or not. sometimes i have difficulty getting what im thinking in my head out in a way that can be easily understood

You make perfect sense. Im relatively new to this but it seems to make sense in that its then spread more throughout your nostrils rather than in a partial clump?

Pinching tightly and holding in your fingers for a few seconds warms the snuff and releases the aromatic oils which can greatly improve the scent of certain snuffs. Rub your fingers together to break apart the clump as you sniff up the powder.

how do you takea bigger pinch like that without getting it everywhere

cause i cant to that and poinch cleanly without spilling it
i think your atleast halfway wrong there. one its impractical with moister snuffs that clump like ft bordeaux and just being in your nose is gonna warm up the snuff in a matter of seconds anyways. ive tried like that and have tried since you mentioned it but other than just ver very very slight increase in scent ts not practical for larger pinches andunless yyour thaaking something smaller than a appleseed sized pinch it just goes everywhere. idk maybe im wrong who knows. its a very ymmv thing
Pinching is messy, convenient but messy. I dont know about big pinches and small pinches a pinch to me is as much snuff as you can grab with your thumb and forefinger and its always messy whether you warm it in your fingers or not. I tend not to care about the mess and just go Napoleon with my snuffs and carry a hankie to dust myself off.
ill continue working with it maybe im doing something wrong. im very meticulus or however you spell it. about not staining my clothes with snuff as i wear mainly polo shirts and dress shirts for my new fashion sense but like you said i do guess it is messy
And as you stated it will take a few seconds to warm in your nose and get the full effect whereas if you warm it first you get the full effect with the initial sniff.
but im also willing to do whatever i can to make snuff as pleasureable as possible since there is that thing with my nose
