I bought this on a lark at a Dollar General store today. Aluminum, fits on my keyring and has an o ring. For me, it holds enough snuff for about 2 days. Its about 1.25" diameter (finger measure, not scientific). Package says it holds ten aspirin. Lid is threaded. Good for a beat around container.
I tried one of those a while back, but I never really got it to work well. The reason was that the case itself was internally threaded, ie the lid had threads on the outside and the container had threads on the inside. This meant that snuff got into the threads easily, as it had to pass over the threads on its way out. I struggled by with it for a while until it came open in my pocket. I washed it out, put some foam earplugs in it and tossed it in my range bag. The one in the photo looks like it might have external threads on the case. If you can get ones like that, I may well revisit the idea. Actually, come to think of it, I might make something out of a piece of aluminum bar I have lying around…
I am prejudiced against using aluminum or copper in contact with my snuff. Especially if you’re scraping it with a spoon .

From the ones I have seen the inside of, it’s usually plastic insert. This one may not be though.
No plastic insert. Threads are inside. I have been using for two days now. It is working well so far.
I got one at CVS and it’s working fine for a keyring, emergency HDT or Starr stash when you get that panic attack right after realizing your actual snuff box is buried somewhere amidst the detritus, flotsam and jetsam on your desk. I can’t think of any situation more depressing than bellying up to the bar, reaching for your snuff and remembering you forgot it. It’s not like there’s a gang of similarly inclined ladies and gentlemen hanging around your local watering hole, although that is a situation I intend to remedy.
I carry the Toque Flask on my key ring. Can’t leave home without Snuff. Sure it don’t cost a dollar but I am happy with it’s sleek design . Also it being high polished stainless steel it is also a mirror you can use to check your nose caves inconspicuously
I will have a look at the Toque flask.

Also I fined the threads get gummed up and interfere with pouring the snuff, but I do have a very small emergency one on my keyring They are cheap, and keep the snuff fresh though
I may have to retract my agree from earlier. I have that exact one, but the snuff does get in the threads which is mildly annoying. Big problem for me is that it tended to not leave the tube easily and when it did much more came out than needed. It actually made it more difficult for me at work where getting my tobacco quickly is a huge huge deal. I own a saw mill that stops for no one and I am always having somewhere to be quickly
