Hi all, I was contemplating buying a smaller bulk WoS tub (260g) from Mr. Snuff. It would ship to the states. I know that some of the Canadian members have been hit with pretty massive custom taxes for orders over 200 or 250g. Anyone from the states had success with ordering bulk over 200g to the states sans major taxes? Cheers! Willymac

I had an order that’s was a couple grams short of 1000 grams (2.2 pounds) and there was no problem at all arrived in one week in great condition
I live in Florida, and have ordered a 500g tube of Viking with no issues.
My last order was over 300g and I haven’t had any problems, either.
I have made numerous 400 & 500 gram orders. Never had a problem.

Bulk is the way to go! I have had a number of buk orders UK to US and all go off without a hitch. Worse case scenario, Customs contacts you and wants you to pay a bit of duty on it. I have never heard of this happening in the US though, only Canada. Even with a bit of duty, its still worth the investment. Snuff is immensely better from bulk and overall much cheaper.
and gives you the perfect excuse to finaly buy that snuff box.
My last order from mr snuff contained a pound of wos Best Sp and several 25-45g tins. No issues at all for me. It will probably take at least a week longer than usual for your order to arrive but it’s worth the wait. There’s nothing better than fresh bulk snuff (;

On the Space Coast, Brevard County.
I live in Marion County. Do tobacco shops there carry much snuff?
@Citra47 Very few US tobacco shops carry much snuff. Some carry Silver Dollar and hopefully soon the Toque snuffs being released to the USA. Other than that it is the American made scotch snuffs.
@Slide…That’s pretty much what I’ve found also but I can always hope. I can’t even find many of the American scotch snuffs in my area.
