Without having sampled Gawith Hoggarth Peppermint, I am again going to presume that Atherthons Peppermint is the same snuff rebranded. There are certainly plenty of peppermint snuffs on the market, and comparing them is a lot of fun. I found this one most similar in flavor to McChrystal’s Supermint, but not as intense in mintyness. There’s not much hint of sweetness like in Toque’s. Pretty clean feeling, like the Wilsons but not quite as much. Any one of these will do as a standby peppermint snuff. This one will probably not get bought again in favor of one of the others, though.
