so no peach at all I don’t know what some of you guys are smelling but after about 3 grams i still detect no peach only a sweet smokey flavor. But it is nice if you can keep it from going all the way up into your brain lol.

at first i absolutely hated this snuff!! when you open the tube and smell it, it is not appealing. you can’t detect a trace of peace. and it smells awful. terrible. like ammonia or something. the first couple of snuffs did not impress me. it was harsh on the nose, and still no peach…but then i began to love it. ahhh peach! very subtle, not overpowering. nice blend of light peach and tobacco. very fine grind, and dry. and it’s pretty damn sweet! it’s very invigorating. uplifting. nicotine is high, seriously. 3/5. BTW i HATE the cardboard tube with the metal top!!! so far it’s been staying fresh, and the cardboard scent leaks into the snuff. i recommend decanting it into something else. it gets difficult to use when the snuff is running low in the container.

I´d honestly recommend this snuff as a first step into the world of Scotch´s. It´s remarkably easy to use and doesn´t overwhelm in taste or nicotine content. It´s quite sweet, but not to a sickening degree. Though it´s a somehow fruity sweetness, Peach, as mentioned before ain´t detectable. Very subtle smokieness in the background. This one´s really ok, but a bit underwhelming if you´re used to stronger and more pronounced Scotch´s.

I did enjoy the light dry part of it but noticed an almost acrid scent to it almost a chemical light sweetner. It could just be my sniffer and it being semi wrecked from smoking for so many years. I did enjoy it tho and was my first smashbox cleaned out.

If you compare this to a European or South African Peach snuff and are hoping for a fair comparison, you are comparing apples and oranges (not peaches) and will be disapointed. This can only be fairly compared with the other American sweet scotches, and that it is where it shines. Its very sweet, but it still considerably less sweet than most of them (Tube Rose springs to mind as being the only one less sweet than this). The peach scent is certainly there, its more of a hint than a flavoring. One has to be mindful of the history of this snuff when reviewing it. The peach has been added for sweetness and not a flavoring to make it more orally palatable. Taken orally, it is indeed very pleasant, and more so than the other sweet scotches. The nicotine hit with this is nice, and is typical of what is expected from fine grinds such as scotches. It won’t burn as harshly as a strong scotch, so it makes a good training snuff if one wants to move onto American Scotches. The throat drip too is sweet and can become a little annoying. For me this is one to get once and maybe only use occasionally. Note: Peach scenting is more of a sweetener than a flavor Rating: 3/5 First tried: March 2009 Style: Sweet Scotch Grind: fin Moisture: dry

A fine dry snuff with a soft sweetness and a light peach tone that hides in the background. More like the scent of a freshly peeled peach skin rather than the actual peach itself. Even without the standout peach, its still an enjoyable snuff. |

A decent sweet snuff, hard to detect the Peach until your nose becomes accustomed to it, and even then it is very light. Fine and dry, easy on the nose. On a side note, I do wish Conwood Co. would revisit the tins for this one and Tube Rose as I have a couple of times bought tins that upon opening were stale and clumpy, possibly the cardboard outer shell is not the best for store shelf life.

I might have an old can of this, and I hope that’s the case although it was recently purchased. This fine and dry snuff has an incredibly sweet smell reminiscent of peach, or peach flavoring to be accurate. The flavor is sweet and a faint artificial peach flavor comes through but for some odd reason, and this is why I think it might have turned on me, I detect Bay Seasoning!? I’m sure at least some of you are familiar with this popular spicy seafood seasoning. I happen to love the stuff, but not in my tobacco for sure, and certainly not a fruit flavored one. It took me a while to recognize the taste/smell, but it’s undeniable and leaves me wondering if that’s perhaps what tobacco might taste like when it’s turned sour? It’s a safe bet that I’m not chancing another can and I think I’m gonna avoid this one in the future in case that’s really part of the flavor profile. I give this selection a half of a half hearted snort, solely because someone took the time to grind it.

Well all i have to compare to as far as sweet snuffs is honey bee. Peach is slightly less sweet and prolly a bit finer in grind. I do not detect any actual peach flavor but i do like this one for sure.

At first sniff, I was welcomed by the fresh scent of a peach’s skin and the brisk buzz of nicotine. Easy on my nose and refreshing to my senses, Conwood’s Peach Sweet has instantly brought joy and memories to me upon first sniff. The scent and flavor is quite reminiscent of the freshly peeled skin of a recently harvested peach. The grind is at just the right level, not too fine or coarse. The nicotine, both refreshing and brisk. Peach Sweet is a wonderful and exuberant snuff for both first-time-sniffers andsnuff junkies alike. Not fake, not choking, not overpowering. This snuff will be a hit with both male and female snuff takers.

Mildly sweet and the peach aroma is there but not overpowering. If you are looking for a sweet snuffthis is as good as any. I like the US snuffs because of the HDT like quality and they are satisfying but in my view the type is at its best when presented in the plainer format.

Not as peachy as one would hope. The scent blends well with the sweetener as to make for a decent American sweet. Sweet Scotch snuff is not my favorite style but has grown on me since I have tried some of the flavored sweets. Thanks again to Nicotinerush for the free sample (and smashbox).

This American sweet scotch seems to me to be rather less sweet and sickly than many of the sweet scotches I have tried, though I can’t say that the flavour reminds me a lot of peaches. It is just as dry and fine as its stable mates but seems somehow easier to take than many. Not bad at all.
