Pairing Snuff with…

S

Was wondering if anyone had insight into pairing of specific snuffs with drink and/or foods. I came upon this as I was downing copious amounts of Espresso this morning and instead of my usual Gletscher Prise I went for a dash of Poeschl Café- wow, talk about complimenting one another. It got me thinking and tonight I will be having a bit of wine and will go with some apricot snuff. Just as I have found a robust cigar seems to be just the thing after a heavy meal, I wonder if anyone has ideas on other pairings certain snuffs with food & beverage? I know tastes vary and to each his/her own, but I would like to open it up to ideas and perhaps discussion on the subject. Looking forward to hearing from my esteemed fellow snuff takers.

Perfumed Indians sure taste good after an Indian meal!

I like the TPS madras with iced teas and WoS Apricot with Earl Grey. Anything with bergamot offsets anything “orange-y” for me. EDIT: I also tend to opine, however, that certain snuffs favor certain environments— ie I like smoky scotches on cold days

P

Chicken Vindaloo extra spicy and FUBAR BOHICA, I love spicy food.

P

FUBAR Grunt and Espresso. If you are particularly daring while smoking LFD double ligero, first thing in the morning. IMHO best way to wake up!!

P

Anisette Biscotti and Lowen Prise.

I have to agree with @General_Desaix because scotches are only appealing to me anymore on particularly chilly days, especially outside. But mentholated indians are always great after any spicy meal to me.

I find McChrystal’s cinnamon goes great with red wine

N

Generally tobacco and coffee goes together, for example Abraxas line with Brazilian coffee…mmmm >:D<

Great insights. I was leaning towards complimentary snuffs and food/drink as I would envision with say wines and foods. Interesting to see the different combinations here. I will certainly give some these a try.

P

Bernard Brasil Doppelt-Fermentiert and Ayinger celebrator Dopple Bock. Trust me this is a snuff and beer pairing made in heaven. The complement each other very well. Bold and robust taste meets the sweet smell of this snuff that has nuances of cocoa

G

I like toasts with my coffee. Also with tea. And champagne. Or whiskey.

P

Tennessee Whisky (particularly George Dickle NO.12), Scotch snuff, and Parodi Cigars (or another toscanco style cigar).
