Now, I’m not one for mentholated snuffs. After an evening workout, I love Red Bull. If I take Red Bull any other time with the exception of a workout, I get really stuffed up…as Chef D will attest. With that said, there doesn’t seem to be to many favorable reviews of Packard’s Club. Myself, my go to snuffs have been Bernard’s schmalzlers and plainer snuffs. Anyhow, Packard’s Club has been sublime for me. It reminds me of a cherry/citrus champagne in the nose. I first discovered this when I was in nursing school, and would take it during breaks in my studying. The menthol is the first sensation one notices, and then gives way to a base note of cherry or perhaps bergamont. I’m not quite sure, but its absolutely lovely. It reminds me of an aftershave my grandfather used to wear, so it brings back good memories. I love to take a few pinches, and then hold the tap box to my nose and just breath in the aroma. It’s beyond wonderful. I agree that the Packard’s Club tap box is a pain and an unnecessary novelty, but well worth the hassle because of the amazing reward you get after the fussing with the dispenser. A minor inconvenience. It’s very easy to take, and while I don’t get much nicotine, this snuff for me purely olfactory. I encourage everyone to try a few pinches, and then hold the tap box to the nose and enjoy the sensation as you take deep breaths. You’ll be amazed at the scent that unfolds. This is an evening/nite snuff and best enjoyed in the cool crisp air. So in closing, a perfect blend of menthol with a cherry/citrus spice what sparkles like champagne in the nose. Hold the tap box to your nose and its heaven after a few pinches. I wonder if anyone else gets nostalgia from this snuff and if not, what snuffs induce nostalgia for you? This was one of my first snuffs. I like it. Has that nasal ‘wake up call’ that so many of us like. unlike what seems like most people though, I actually like the box dispenser. Didn’t take any time at all to get the hang of it and once I did, the perfectly sized ‘doses’ were great. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify any other similar options (box dispensers). I have however found other snuffs that give me an even better ‘nasal wake up call.’ Cheers!!!111
