I was a little under the weather last Wednesday evening suffering with a cold, first one for years. Anyway I staggered into the St John’s pub in Hull and to meet my friend ermtony who I met on this forum. Glad I made the effort to get to the ‘John’s’ as Tony had all his American snuff with him that he had purchased from Tom of Nicotine Rush. I must say it was a great experience taking my first North American Snuff, Coooooor that Rooster takes some beating, like all their snuff very dry and nearest we have is F & T H.D.T. But, I think I tamed that Rooster!

I’ve tried Rooster as Stitch was kind enough to send me some in the post. It’s very very strong and I find it quite a challenge but its worth the effort! Snuffhead: You take snuff when you have a cold? I would’ve thought that would make it worse! lol

Lazarus, I think Hedges L260 was disigned for the very cold, but it wouldn’t stay in my nose. The American dry fine snuff’s did!!

Which is just as well as I seem to have come down with that cold now… Won’t stop me heading for the St Johns shortly though. Live band on tonight, so not to be missed.

Yes, I came down to the St’ John’s, enjoyed the band. met Toney and his wife Penney. Seems like a could war brewing now. But this is meant in the nicest way.
