What are your thoughts on the Beatles bob?

A

I am interested too.

Apparently he just can’t get enough of them, its ‘beatles this and beatles that’ 24/7 for bob.

N

I also am a Beatles nut. I destroy anyone who challanges me to the Trivial Pursuit Beatles edition. I’ve been following them since I was 10.

That’s what my cousin is like for real. He’s obsessed with them, and isn’t afraid of boring people who like them less than he does (which is everyone). I bought him an mp3 player a couple of years ago, and put the entire Beatles discography on it for him. The way he reacted was like I had given him a ton of pure gold. Personally, I can’t see the appeal…

Beatles trivia stumper question for you…drum roll. In the song ‘DEAR PRUDENCE’ who is the famous actress who is the sister of ‘prudence’ and why was the song written? Yes I have heard the reason and who the actress is…the gauntlet is thrown.

T

@graybeard19 sorry I can’t stand the Beatles but that one is easy prudence was mia farrows sister who shut herself in her house to find god the meaning of life or whatever and john wrote the song to get her out. I did like the Siouxsie and the Banshees version.

I think they’re a little famous for a bunch of guys that ripped off the Monkeys! Actualy I’am kind of ho-hum on the beatles. I think that honestly they are very talented and wrote some amazing songs that really stand the test of time. I admit I’am not much of a rock guy however. My favorite album of theirs is Rubber Soul, I think that album is great. I think that they are the only band I can honestly is over-rated yet completely deserving of their fame (if that makes much sense). Though I love making beatle jokes and some day hope to make them to a few to Sir Paul. My second favorite Beatles joke is to ask people at a party who their favorite beatle is and to tell them ringo is mine, cause he was the only one who knew how to sing or play is instrument (they all could play their instruments). I also think musicians should check out their stuff even if they don’t enjoy it because they could learn a few things about econmical song writing. You know how to sound great without overplaying. You know taste is really what they had in spades.

I never liked the beatles much in the first place, but since I moved to America, I like them even less. After asking me if I’m from Australia, the next thing out of new aquaintances mouths is either something about the Beatles or something about Monty Python. I do like Monty Python a great deal however. In case you’re wondering, the third thing is invariably something about football (soccer) which I loathe.

B

wait till they start asking you about Crowley. Remember they are the ones to avoid (even though some of them are cool, most of them are annoying wankers [from my experience]). Just a heads up.

D

Oh, they’re just trying to find common ground to be friendly. I often hear that New Yorkers are reputed to be rude and unfriendly, but that isn’t my experience at all.

Good review of Beatles there! bobness is good for you.

I’m a Doo Wopper… The Beatles were the beginning of the end for good old Doo Wop!

I guess everyone has different views on music. HATe dell laptops!!! Ok, Mia Farrow, her sister had the ‘moves’ put onto her by Maharishi Yogi GURU . lennon and mccartney gave up on him and wrote the song. She was pretty messed up by the whole situatiiation. I heard that she was underaged at the time.
