Visit this site: Smoker Outlet OnlineI was poking around thinking about cutting back on the price of cigs because I just cant quit right now. I used to use a Cig injector. For those unfamiliar with these they are simple. Buy a injector machine, basic one is about $7, and $10-20 bag of cig tobacco, and a $2 box of 200 empty (filtered) cig tubes, and wham you got a carton of cigs for $10-25. Anyways, this site has a message on their home page stating that the PACT act is going to make it so not only USPS, but private companies like UPS and FedEX also wont be able to ship. Check the site and tell me what you think. This concerns me, more about snuff then the cig stuff.
I thought I read somewhere that private carriers were going to voluntarily comply with PACT, not that its necessarily prohibited for them to ship it.
I’ve heard rumors that UPS and FedEX will honor PACT. I have no evidence of this though.
As far as the retail customer is concerned: FedEx will not ship any tobacco products. UPS will not ship cigarettes (ie they will ship snuff). So far.
Holy cats! What a confusing set of affairs.
I just want some finality to all this, am I going to have to jump through hoops to order snuff? Or am I just not going to be able to order snuff at all? This is nuts. I am gearing up to make a large order mid month before this ridiculous law goes into effect.
Patience please… it’s being worked out. Yes, you will still be able to buy snuff, and no, you wont have to jump through hoops! Tom
I’m sure it’ll be worked out, but I made a big order…just in case there is a bottleneck for a bit.
Thanks Tom coming from you I feel slightly better now, but Im still going to make a huge ass order next Thursday after I am paid just in case…
Indeed, it is all being worked out. Final touches are going on as I type. I am confident that in the next few weeks we’ll all be wondering what all the fuss was about. Dave
In the uk Royal Mail will carry anything anywhere in the world and they are really cheap.
